Races
Adding a race, your goal time and your own words, and the weather on past race days.
- How do I add a race?Choose New run, then Race. Drop in the race’s route file, give it a name, and set its date and gun time. Add your goal time and a few words of your own if you like, and turn on Live tracking if you want people to follow you on the day. Then choose Save the race.
- How do I set a goal time, and what is the ghost?Add Your goal time when you add or edit a race, or in Your goal and live tracking for a club race. Your pace follows it. With live tracking on, followers see your goal before the gun, your goal as a ghost on the course during the race, and how far ahead or behind it you are.
- How do I see the weather on past race days?In Map your run on the web, open the Comrades, Berlin, London or Boston and choose Race days. Pick a year from 2015 to 2024 and set your pace, and RunFast shows the real weather that day, hour by hour, at the time you’d have reached each stretch. It’s on the web only, not in the app.
- What is The RunFast 200 by ProLend?A free challenge: run 200 km between 16 and 31 December, anywhere in the world. Join from the banner on Runs, connect Strava, and RunFast counts your kilometres from your runs. Finish, and you get a finisher card to share.
