Do I need an account to use RunFast?

Updated

Not to map a run or follow someone. Map your run works without signing in, and anyone can follow a runner live from their link, with no account and no app. You need a free account to save runs and races, join your club’s runs, turn on live tracking and go live.

No account needed

  • Map your run: drop in a route, pick the day and your pace, fly it and share it. You can even get its forecast by email: you only type your email address. See mapping a run.
  • Following a runner live: open the link they sent you on any phone or computer, or find them by name at runfast.tech/follow. See following without an account.
  • Following in the app: choose I’m following someone. Alerts work without an account too.
  • Opening a club’s page or a run’s link to see its route and weather.

With a free account

  • Your runs and races: save casual runs, once or every week, and races, with your start or gun time and pace. See casual run or race.
  • The evening-before email for each one, at 18:00 where it’s run.
  • Clubs: join your club, tap I’m in on its runs and races, or ask for your club’s page.
  • Live tracking: turn it on for a race, share your link and picture, and go live on race day in the RunFast app.
  • Strava: bring in your routes and runs.

Create one at runfast.tech/app, or in the RunFast app, with Apple, Google or your email. See signing in.

One account, everywhere

The same account works on runfast.tech and in the RunFast app on iPhone and Android.

Following in the app first?

If you make an account later, the runners you follow come with you.
