How do I sign in to RunFast?

Create an account

1. Go to runfast.tech/app and choose Create an account.
2. Choose Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, and you’re in.
3. Or fill in your First name, Last name, Email and a Password of at least 8 characters, and choose Create account.
4. Check your email for a 6-digit code, type it in, and choose Confirm email. See if the code doesn’t come.

Sign in

At runfast.tech/app, choose the way you signed up: Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, or your email and password, then Sign in.

Forgot your password? Choose Forgot?, type your email and choose Send reset link. The email lets you choose a new password.

Add another way to sign in

Open Account and look under How you sign in:

• Add a password, so you can also sign in with your email.
• Connect Google or Connect Apple to sign in with one tap.
• Disconnect removes a way, as long as you have another.

Two ways in means you’re never locked out on a new phone.

You signed up another way before. Sign in the way you did then, and add the new way in Account afterwards.

Your name

Every RunFast account has a first and a last name, because runners see it when you follow them or give them a tap on the back. If Apple or Google doesn’t share a full name, RunFast asks for it before you go on. An account without one is asked once when you next sign in or open the app: choose Not now to skip it on that browser, and it asks again at your next sign-in, never more than once a day.

Change it in Account under First name and Last name (up to 40 characters each), then Save, or in the app under You, then Edit. It’s the name your clubs see, followers see on the live map and your share picture, and people search for when you’re Findable by anyone. A new name goes everywhere it shows; taps you gave before keep the name they were given with.

In the iPhone and Android apps

The RunFast app uses the same account: sign in the way you did on runfast.tech.

• iPhone: Sign in with Apple, Continue with Google, or your email and password.
• Android: Continue with Google, or your email and password. There’s no Apple sign-in on Android: if you signed up with Apple, add a password or connect Google in Account on runfast.tech first.

New accounts made in the app confirm the email with the same 6-digit code.
