Where are RunFast’s Terms of Use?

Updated

At runfast.tech/terms. One set of Terms of Use covers RunFast, Windline and livedot. They cover your account, your livedot link and the rules for handles, live tracking (not a safety service), forecasts (estimates), what you share, and what we’re responsible for.

Where to read them

The Terms of Use are at runfast.tech/terms. The same terms cover RunFast, Windline and livedot, with a short section for each. They sit next to Privacy, which says what RunFast keeps and why. Using RunFast, or making an account, means you agree to the terms; on the web, the sign-up screen says so under the button.

What they cover

  • Your account: your own first and last name, one person per account, and 13 or older (under 18 with a parent’s or guardian’s permission).
  • Your livedot link: livedot.me/yourname is yours to use, not to own. Some names are kept back, and a handle can be taken back or given to someone else for impersonation, a trademark or event-name claim, squatting, selling it, 12 months without use (after a warning email), or breaking the terms. You can change it once every 30 days.
  • Live tracking: it’s for following and encouragement, not a safety or emergency service.
  • Forecasts and historic weather: estimates from Apple Weather and Copernicus ERA5. You decide whether and when to run.
  • What you share, reports and blocks, club and organiser pages, the apps, and what we’re responsible for.
