How do I delete my RunFast account?
Updated
On runfast.tech, open Account and choose Delete my account; in the app, open You and choose Delete account. Your account, runs, races, goals, live tracking data, follow link, followers and photo are deleted straight away and for good. Club runs and races you added for a club stay with the club.
On the web
- Sign in at runfast.tech/app and open Account.
- Under Sign out or delete your account, choose Delete my account.
- RunFast asks “Delete your account?”. Choose Delete my account again.
You’ll see “Your account is deleted”. This can’t be undone.
In the iPhone and Android apps
Open You and choose Delete account (on Android, tap Edit beside your name first). The app lists what will be deleted and asks you to confirm, then says “Your account is deleted”.
What’s deleted
- Your account: your name, email address, sign-in and units.
- Your runs and races, and their links stop working.
- Your goals, your own words and your results.
- Live tracking: your live sessions and the positions your phone sent, your follow link, the people who follow you and the runners you follow.
- Findable by anyone: you can’t be found by name any more.
- Your photo.
- Your place in your clubs, including Every week on their runs.
- Alerts to your phones.
Strava: deleting on runfast.tech disconnects Strava first. Deleting in the app? Disconnect Strava in the app’s Strava setting first, or afterwards in Strava under Settings → My Apps.
Club runs and races you added for a club stay with the club, so its members keep them.
If you’re a club’s only manager
RunFast says “You’re the only manager of” the club: “Add another manager first, or ask us to close the club.” Make another member a manager, then delete your account. Or email us, and we’ll close the club. See getting your club on RunFast.
By email
You can also email hello@runfast.tech from the address on your account, and we’ll delete it for you.
Just want fewer emails?
Every RunFast email has a one-tap link that stops it, without deleting anything else. See the evening-before email.
