How do I connect ChatGPT or Claude to RunFast?

Updated

Add livedot to ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, ask it about your runs, and choose RunFast when it asks you to connect. Sign in to RunFast, check what it may do, and choose Allow. It can then list your runs and races and add drafts; it publishes only when you say so. Disconnect it any time in Account.

Connect it

  1. In your assistant, add livedot (its address is livedot.me/mcp) as a connector or app.
  2. Ask it about your runs. The first time, it asks you to connect: choose RunFast.
  3. A livedot page on runfast.tech opens and says which app is asking and what it may do. Sign in to RunFast the way you always do: Apple, Google, or your email and password. Your email needs to be confirmed.
  4. Choose Allow, and you’re back in your assistant. Cancel connects nothing.

The assistant never sees your password.

What it can do

Exactly what you can do in the RunFast app, and only what you allowed:

  • See your runs and races, and your clubs’ ones if you manage a club.
  • Add a run or a race as a draft, with its route, date or days every week, and start or gun time. A draft is in your Runs list but not on its page or your club’s page yet.
  • Change a run’s name, notes, where it starts, its date and its time.
  • Publish a draft, only when you’ve said yes in the chat.
  • Post a run or race on a club you manage, as a draft.

It can’t change a run or race that’s in Past: what’s happened stays as it is (see past runs and races). It never sees, changes or publishes runs you brought in from Strava; those stay private to you. It can’t delete anything.

Disconnect it

Open Account at runfast.tech/app. Under Connected apps, AI assistants lists each app you’ve connected, when, and when it was last used. Choose Disconnect: it can’t see or change your runs any more, straight away. You can connect it again from the assistant whenever you like.

Windline too

livedot connects Windline accounts the same way. If you ride as well as run, choose Windline or RunFast when the assistant asks.
