Can I see how following someone live looks?
Updated
Yes. Open runfast.tech/f/demo in any browser, or choose See the demo at Comrades in the RunFast app. A demo runner is always mid-race, with a field of other demo runners, so you can see the live map, the cards, the goal’s ghost and the heat, any day of the year.
Open it
- In a browser: runfast.tech/f/demo, on any phone or computer.
- On runfast.tech/follow and runfast.tech/live: See the demo at Comrades.
- In the RunFast app: choose I’m following someone, then See the demo at Comrades.
No account needed.
What you’ll see
The same as following a real runner on race day:
- The runner on the map, on the course coloured by how hard the weather makes each stretch.
- Their card: how far they’ve run, their pace, when they’ll finish and the heat where they are.
- Their goal’s ghost, and how far ahead or behind it they are. See the ghost.
- Other demo runners on the same course.
It’s only a demo
The demo runner isn’t a real person, and the race isn’t one you can join. It’s there so you can see how following works before race day.
To be followed like this yourself, add your race and turn on live tracking. See turning on live tracking.
Stop following the demo
Open the demo runner’s card and choose Stop following.
