How do I post a club run with livedot in ChatGPT or Claude?
Updated
In ChatGPT or Claude with livedot, signed in with your RunFast account, attach the route and say “Post our Tuesday track session on the club page, every Tuesday at 5:30.” livedot adds it to the club you manage as a draft. Publish it when you’re ready, and members see it on the club’s page and tap I’m in.
Before you start
- livedot in ChatGPT or Claude: search for livedot, or add it at
https://livedot.me/mcp. - Your RunFast account, connected. See connecting your RunFast account.
- A club you manage on RunFast. See adding your club.
- The route: a GPX file or a link (not Strava).
Post it
- Attach the route and say what it is: “Post our Saturday parkrun warm-up on the club page, every Saturday at 6:30.”
- livedot checks the details with you: the club, the name, once or every week, and the time.
- Say yes. livedot adds it to the club as a draft and shows its card: Club run, the route, the distance, “Every week from …” for a weekly run, and Open in RunFast.
- When you’re ready, ask livedot to publish it. It asks you to confirm, then the run is on the club’s page, with its weather, and members can tap I’m in.
A club race works the same way: give its date and gun time.
Always for the club
A club run is always shared with the club. If you want a run just for yourself, say so, and livedot makes it private, on no club’s page. See private run or club run.
Good to know
- Only clubs you manage. Anywhere else, livedot says only the club’s managers can add its runs.
- Change it later from the chat or in the app. A run in Past stays as it was.
- Nothing is public until you publish.
