How do I add a run or race to my club’s page?

Updated

If you manage the club, open it under Clubs at runfast.tech/app and choose Add a run or race. Pick Casual run or Race, drop in the route, and set the days or date, the start or gun time and the club’s pace. It goes on the club’s page with its weather, and members tap I’m in.

Only the club’s managers can add its runs and races. Not a manager? Ask one of them, or see getting your club on RunFast.

Add it

  1. Open your club:
    • On the web: sign in at runfast.tech/app and open it under Clubs, or tap Manage the club on the club’s page.
    • In the iPhone and Android apps: open it from the Clubs tab.
  2. Choose Add a run or race. The title says Add to and your club’s name.
  3. Choose what it is:
    • Casual run: “A club run, once or every week. Members tap I’m in and get its forecast the evening before.”
    • Race: “A race on its day, at its gun time, with its own live map. Members tap I’m in, then set their own goal and live tracking.”
  4. Fill in the form: the route, the name, the days or the date, the start time or Gun time, and Pace for its forecast, plus where it starts and notes if you like.
  5. Save it.

It shows on the club’s page straight away, with its weather at that pace, from 10 days out.

A club race

A club race has no goal or live tracking of its own. Instead, the form says: “Members tap I’m in on the club’s page, then set their own goal and live tracking. On the day, the race has its own live map on the club’s page.”

So on race day:

  • Each member who’s in sets their own goal and live tracking. See club races.
  • The race gets its own live map, open to anyone. See a club race’s live map.
  • If you’re running it, tap I’m in like everyone else. It isn’t on your own Runs list until you do.

Change or remove it

Open the club under Clubs and find it under Club runs and races. Choose Edit to change it, or Open to see it as members do.

Where members find it

  • On the club’s page, under Next up, Every week and Coming up.
  • On their own Runs list, once they tap I’m in. See joining your club’s runs.
  • One-off runs and races move to the club’s Past list the day after.
