Your runs and your pages
Updated
Runs is your own space: every run and race you made for yourself, and every one you tapped I’m in on, from any club. Run a club, a coaching page or an organiser page? Each has its own section in the menu, Clubs, Coaching and Organising, with its runs, Add and its members. Every run lives in one place: your Runs, or one page.
Runs: your own space
Runs holds everything that’s yours to run:
- The runs and races you made for yourself, from New run. Nobody else sees them unless you share their link.
- Every run you tapped I’m in on, from any club or group you’re in. They carry an I’m in tag and the club’s name. Joining a run doesn’t make it yours: its page’s managers still look after it.
A one-off run or race moves to Past the day after it happens.
Clubs, Coaching and Organising: the pages you run
If you manage a page on RunFast, the menu shows it under its kind:
- Clubs: each club you manage. Clubs you’re only a member of are listed on the Clubs screen, without Add.
- Coaching: each coaching page you run.
- Organising: each organiser page you run.
A section shows only when you have a page of that kind. You can have all three, and several of each.
Open a page and you’re in its space: its runs and races (drafts too), Add a run or race (on a coaching page, New group session), who’s asked to join, and its members. On the iPhone and Android apps, the same sections are in the app’s menu.
One home for each run
Every run lives in exactly one place: your Runs, or one page. There are no shared or joint runs.
- Added inside a page, it belongs to that page. Members see it on the page and tap I’m in, and supporters see it on livedot.me/
. - Added from Runs → New run, it’s yours, and on no page.
- To change where it lives, choose ••• on the run, then Move to…. See moving an event to a page.
The words each page uses
- Coaching pages say group and session: Join the group, Leave the group, Next session, Tell me when they add a session and New group session.
- Clubs say club and run: Join the club, Leave the club, Next run, Tell me when the club adds a run.
- Organisers say event or race.
