How do I find a running coach near me?
Updated
Ask livedot in ChatGPT or Claude, for example “running coach near Sandton” or “online marathon coach”. It lists coaches and training groups near that place, nearest first, with what they coach, how (1-on-1, small group, online), their next group session and its weather. Book / contact opens the coach’s own page; See their page opens livedot.me.
Ask livedot
With livedot connected in ChatGPT or Claude (how to connect it), ask the way you’d ask a friend:
- “Running coach near Sandton”
- “Coach for my first marathon in Durban”
- “Beginner running group with a coach near Fourways”
- “Online ultra coach”
livedot lists coaches and training groups near that place, nearest first. Each shows:
- what they coach (marathon, ultra, beginners, racing and more) and how (1-on-1, small group, online);
- their next group session, with its weather;
- Beginners welcome, if they say so;
- their qualifications, in their own words;
- Book / contact, which opens the coach’s own booking or links page, and See their page, their page on livedot.me.
You can also open livedot.me/coaches and pick your area.
Before you book
livedot shows each coach’s qualifications as the coach states them. It doesn’t check them and never marks a coach as verified or certified, so ask the coach about them, what a normal week looks like and what it costs. If you’re starting after a long break or have a health condition, speak to a doctor before a new training plan.
Join a coach’s group
A coach who runs a training group has Join the group on their page. It opens RunFast, where you sign in or make a free account in the same step.
No coach near you?
Coaches show up once they list themselves and add where they coach. Try a wider area, ask for online coaching, or find a club near you. Know a coach who’d like to be found? Point them to listing their coaching on livedot.
