Move an event to a page

Updated

Choose ••• on the run, then Move to…, and pick where it goes: one of the pages you manage, or Your runs. A sheet names where it’s going before anything moves. People already in it stay in, and the new page’s members who asked to hear get one notice. Past runs and private runs don’t move.

Every run lives in one place: your Runs, or one page you manage. Move to… changes which.

Move it

  1. Find the run: in Runs, or in the page’s space under Clubs or Coaching.
  2. Choose ••• on it, then Move to….
  3. Pick where it goes: Your runs, or one of your pages. The one it’s in now says Here now.
  4. Check the sheet. It names where it’s going and who hears about it. Choose Move.

What happens

  • People already in it stay in. Their I’m in, and who’s running each date, go with it.
  • The new page’s members who turned on Tell me when the club adds a run (on a coaching page, Tell me when they add a session) get one notice, for example “Fourways Run Squad added a session”. A draft is announced when you publish it.
  • The page it left says nothing. It just isn’t listed there any more.
  • Moved to Your runs, it’s yours alone again, on no page.

Who can move it, and what can’t move

  • Only the run’s owner, and only between places they manage: the page it’s on now, and the page it’s going to.
  • Past runs and races never move. What’s happened stays as it was.
  • Private runs can’t go on a page. Move to says Make it shared first: share it in its settings, then move it.

Move to is on the web at runfast.tech/app, and in the iPhone and Android apps.
