What is a club race’s live map?

Every club race has its own live map, open to anyone with no account. Before the gun it shows who’s in, with their goals; from the gun, where each runner is; and finishers for 6 hours after. Open it from the race on the club’s page: Live map, or Watch live on the day. Only runners who chose Findable by anyone are on it.
Open it
- On the club’s page (runfast.tech/c/ and the club’s name): under the race, tap Live map →, or Watch live on race day.
- In the iPhone and Android apps: on the club’s screen under Clubs, tap Live map, or Watch live on race day.
No account and no app needed. Share the link in the club’s group chat on race morning, so family and friends can watch everyone at once.
What it shows
- The course.
- Before the gun: Who’s in, each with their goal and their own words, and a countdown such as “Gun in 2 h 05 min”.
- From the gun: where each runner is, with their pace and when they’ll finish. Furthest along lists the runners in order, and Yet to start those who haven’t started moving.
- Finishers, with their time, for 6 hours after they finish.
- Find a runner by name: a search box to pick out one runner. You follow shows the runners you already follow.

Who’s on it
Club members who:
- tapped I’m in on the race, and
- turned on Live tracking and Findable by anyone for it.
See your goal and live tracking for a club race. Members who leave Findable by anyone off aren’t on the map: only people with their link can follow them.
Privacy
- Anyone who opens the map can see the runners on it. That’s what Findable by anyone means, so leave it off if you’d rather only the people you choose follow you.
- Runners appear only while they’re live, and can stop any time.
- The positions phones send are deleted after 7 days.
After the race
The club’s page keeps the race all day, so the map can still be reached. After that, the race moves to the club’s Past list.
