How do I send a run to Strava?

Updated

With Strava connected, choose Send to Strava on a past run, beside Export GPX. RunFast uploads the run to your Strava, named after the run, with its weather line as the description. It says Sending…, then On Strava with a link to the activity.

Send a run

  1. Connect Strava once, if you haven’t: see bringing in routes and runs from Strava.
  2. Open Runs, then Past. On the run, choose ⋯ then Send to Strava, or open its sheet or its page and choose Send to Strava, beside Export GPX.
  3. It says Sending… while Strava takes it, usually a few seconds. Then On Strava: tap it to open the activity on Strava.

Send to Strava only shows when Strava is connected. Runs you brought in from Strava don’t have it: they’re on Strava already.

What Strava gets

Your run’s track with the time of every point, named after the run, with its weather line as the description. Strava’s own privacy setting for new activities decides who sees it. RunFast sends it only when you tap, and reads nothing back.

If it doesn’t go

  • The run has only its route, no times: Strava needs the times, which come from the track your phone sends at the finish; a run recorded before 4 November 2026 has none. See exporting a run as GPX.
  • It’s already on Strava: you’ll see On Strava with a link to the one that’s there.
  • Reconnect Strava: connect it again from Account, then try again.
  • Strava is still working on it: it will be on your Strava in a minute or two.
